• VP FRED LENTER will hold an informative and extremely provocative discussion, “ETHICS and MAGIC” (perhaps “extremely provocative” is a bit overstated, but our club discussions are always informative, to say the very least)!  

• RING 22 is also making plenty of time for YOU to share your latest magical excursions with our forever supportive, friendly crowd!

• Our MAGICAL GYRATIONS carry on long afterwards with our AFTERGLOW at the HIDEOUT!

We’re also including a FIRST-TIME-EVER EPIC EVENT - our PCP MAGIC CLINIC (a “Positive -  Constructive - Positive” activity designed especially for YOU)!   How does it work?  Bring that certain trick you’ve been working on that needs fixing, or a trick that needs stronger reactions, or that trick you’re not sure of but always wanted to perform!  Maybe you are just seeking helpful performance tips!  At this meeting we’re devoting special EXTENDED TIME for YOU to receive INVALUABLE and IMMEDIATE FEEDBACK from our friendly fellow club members!  Our positive/constructive comments could turn YOU and YOUR MAGIC into something really special!  GIVE IT A TRY!  If possible (in order to ensure sufficient performance/feedback time for everyone) please let us know if YOU would like to perform something at this meeting.  HOW CAN YOU PASS THIS LEARNING OPPORTUNITY UP???

MAGICIAN/VOLUNTEERS (in support of RING 22) are again needed to perform magic at the TEMPLE ISRAEL LABOR DAY PICNIC, MONDAY, SEPT. 4, 2023, 10:30 AM - 2 PM.  This is always great fun for everyone - bring your family and friends along, too (everything is free)!  The TEMPLE makes a substantial financial contribution to our club - YOUR generous efforts will be greatly appreciated!  [Contact RING 22 for specifics] 

MAGIC FOR UKRAINE - A special online live INTERNATIONAL show is planned for WEDNESDAY,  JULY 26, 2023, 9 PM,  featuring magician super stars Kayla Drescher, Eric Jones, Paige Thompson, and Andy Deemer.  Donations/proceeds  support humanitarian efforts and programs in Ukraine.  For more info, email  magicforukraine@gmail.com for details.

CLUB MEMBERS are ENCOURAGED to bring in whatever magic items (from 1-1000!) you’re no longer using (books, gadgets, videos, keepsakes, or whatever) to BUY, SELL, TRADE, SWAP, or DONATE to others.  Tables will be provided for our members at no charge - all profits are yours to keep!  Although SALES are limited to club members only, EVERYONE (including non-members and guests) are welcome to attend the meeting and purchase that gift of magic you’ve always been searching for!   Please take advantage of this golden opportunity!!

Save the date!  RING 22 is proud to be hosting another very special and EXCLUSIVE in-person magic lecture,  featuring the INTERNATIONALLY-KNOWN magician FENIK (Alfredo Ruiz Coughanour).  Visiting us directly from The MAGIC CASTLE on his way to Chicago’s MAGIC LOUNGE, FENIK has never been in the Greater Detroit area before and we hope EVERYONE will attend this lecture - if you haven’t seen him before, this is an event you definitely cannot miss - SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2023, at 2 PM!  Admission at the door is only $10 for ANY and ALL IBM RING and S-A-M members, $20 for guests.  Please tell your friends about this one and be an active part of our magic community!

PLEASE HELP - RING 22 STILL NEEDS VOLUNTEER MAGICIANS!
For those of you who have not yet volunteered, RING 22 has been asked to supply magical entertainment at TEMPLE ISRAEL’s Labor Day Family Festival, from 10:30 AM - 2 PM, on Monday, September 4, 2023 (5725 Walnut Lake Rd, West Bloomfield Township, MI 48323).   Volunteer performers (that’s YOU!) can present your magic for friendly crowds (large or small) - for any length of time at their beautiful synagogue grounds and facility (generally outdoors, weather permitting).  Your family members and guests are welcome -   EVERYTHING is FREE and FUN for the ENTIRE FAMILY!  In addition to magic, there’s food, pony rides, games, music, bounce houses, and a wonderful time. THIS ONE IS SPECIAL!!!  That’s right - RING 22 is hosting its annual SUPER SWAP MEET and SESSION PARTY as part of our monthly club meeting, and it is guaranteed to be a real “barn burner”, on TUESDAY, AUGUST 15, 2023, 7:15 PM at the SPIRIT OF CHRIST (TRINITY) LUTHERAN CHURCH, 749 W. 14 Mile Rd., Clawson, MI.  We’ll be spotlighting a special guest from Florida - well-known magician and longtime friend of our club, MARV LONG, and if that’s not enough, we’re hosting our “MEMBERS-ONLY” SWAP MEET as well as providing plenty of tables for ONE-ON-ONE SESSIONING among friends!   Of course, you’ll ALL have a chance to perform on our WIDE-OPEN STAGE!  Remember, we’re more than a monthly meeting, we’re a monthly PLETHORA of GREAT MAGIC, and YOU are the reason why!   

SWAP MEET DETAILS
CLUB MEMBERS are ENCOURAGED to bring in whatever magic items you’re no longer using (books, gadgets, videos, keepsakes, or whatever) to SELL, TRADE, SWAP, or DONATE to others.  Tables will be provided for our members at no charge - all profits are yours to keep!  For our club members, this is the perfect time to earn some extra cash as well as clean out your basement!  Although sales are limited to club members only, EVERYONE (including non-members and guests) are welcome to attend the meeting and purchase that gift of magic you’ve always been searching for!   Please take advantage of this special meeting and help make our event extra-magical!

Save the date!  RING 22 is proud to be hosting another very special and EXCLUSIVE in-person magic lecture,  featuring the INTERNATIONALLY-KNOWN magician FENIK (Alfredo Ruiz Coughanour).  Visiting us directly from The MAGIC CASTLE on his way to Chicago’s MAGIC LOUNGE, FENIK has never been in the Greater Detroit area before and we hope EVERYONE will attend this lecture - if you haven’t seen him before, this is an event you definitely cannot miss - SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2023, at 2 PM!  Admission at the door is only $10 for ANY and ALL IBM RING and S-A-M members, $20 for guests.  Please tell your friends about this rare opportunity for our magic community - SUPPORT MAGIC and join us!

PLEASE HELP - RING 22 STILL NEEDS VOLUNTEER MAGICIANS!
For those of you who have not yet volunteered, RING 22 has been asked to supply magical entertainment at TEMPLE ISRAEL’s Labor Day Family Festival, from 10:30 AM - 2 PM, on Monday, September 4, 2023 (5725 Walnut Lake Rd, West Bloomfield Township, MI 48323).   Volunteer performers (that’s YOU!) can present your magic anywhere (indoors or outdoors), for large and/or small friendly crowds and for any length of time at their beautiful synagogue and facility.  Your family members and guests are welcome -   EVERYTHING is FREE and FUN for the ENTIRE FAMILY!  In addition to magic, there’s food, pony rides, games, music, bounce houses, and a wonderful time. RING 22 will receive a substantial financial donation for our participation and your help will be greatly appreciated!  IF YOU CAN HELP, PLEASE CONTACT ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.  It’s always fun performing magic just the way you like it!
