RING 22’s monthly club meeting is now only TWO DAYS AWAY (!) and it promises to be another “CANNOT MISS” event (on TUESDAY, JUNE 18, 2024, 7:15 PM, at the Spirit of Christ Lutheran Church, 749 W. 14 Mile Rd., Clawson, MI  48017).   We’ll be making history once again, SPOTLIGHTING the amazing magic of internationally recognized performer KEITH FIELDS!  After his performance, KEITH will also present a MINI-LECTURE devoted to the improvement of performance skills, revealing important tips, thoughts, and presentational ideas that he’s learned from a lifetime of world experience!

Our “SUMMER OF MAGIC” ain’t over yet, and RING 22 will once again be hosting one of the most popular events of the year - our CLUB MEETING & SWAP MEET, on a SPECIAL day - THURSDAY, AUGUST 22, 2024, 7:15 PM, at the Spirit of Christ Lutheran Church, 749 W. 14 Mile Rd., Clawson, MI  48017 - that’s right, not TUESDAY, but THURSDAY, AUGUST 22!

We’ll be kicking things off bright and early, at 7:15 PM, featuring the magic of RICK RAIMONDO, master of magic as well as the kitchen!  We’ll then take everyone to our annual SWAP MEET of MAGIC - members-only are encouraged to bring in all those magic-related items you’re no longer using to sell or swap with others.  We’ll supply the tables at no charge, and all of the profits go to YOU.  Of course, EVERYONE (including guests!) are welcome to attend and buy some wonderful products at bargain-basement prices.  This is truly a “deal no one can refuse” - there’ll be plenty of time to look things over as well as session with friends!  Don’t miss this one - it is sure to be a magical blast!

We are once again in desperate need of volunteers - for those who have not yet volunteered, RING 22 has been asked to supply magical entertainment at TEMPLE ISRAEL’s Labor Day Family Festival, from 10:30 AM - 2 PM, on Monday, September 2, 2024 (5725 Walnut Lake Rd, West Bloomfield Township, MI 48323).   Volunteer performers (that’s YOU!) can present your magic anywhere (indoors or outdoors), for large and/or small friendly crowds and for any length of time at their beautiful synagogue and facility.  Your family members and guests are welcome -   EVERYTHING is FREE and FUN for the ENTIRE FAMILY!  In addition to magic, there’s food, pony rides, games, music, bounce houses, and a wonderful time. RING 22 will receive a substantial financial donation for our participation and your help will be greatly appreciated!  IF YOU CAN HELP, PLEASE CONTACT ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.  It’s always fun performing magic just the way you like it for appreciative audiences!

Our SPOTLIGHT will feature the highly entertaining, enlightening, and effervescent magic of “DAPPER DAN” SPERLING!  We’ll also be presenting a DOUBLE-SIDED MAGIC WORKSHOP taught by the extremely fast-handed magician, JESSE OWEN, not only explaining in detail a real card magic fooler but also sharing several coin techniques that every magician must learn!  

And it gets even better with a moment you’ve all been waiting for…  We’ll unveil our OFFICIAL GRAND OVERVIEW of our MICHIGAN MAGIC DAY 2025 - an incredible magical weekend of monstrous magic presented in our very own RING 22 style (May 16-17, 2025)! 

But you best be sitting down for what comes next..  We’ll be presenting a FIRST TIME EVER ACTIVITY - the NOT-PENN & TELLER RINGSIDE REVIEW, and it will literally “seal the deal”!  We’re inviting EVERYONE - that means YOU -  to join in on the fun and perform YOUR MAGIC for our panel of illustrious judges, master magicians KEITH FIELDS, DENNIS LEUNG, and REX KAY!  EVERYONE will have THREE ways to win a prize (!) - AMAZE, CONFUSE, or AMUSE - performing a mystifying trick, creating an entertaining moment, or simply sharing a laugh with your favorite gag!   Everyone wins and you’ll have a blast performing for a positive and supportive audience!

Club member CLIFF MARKO is planning a trip and extended visit to LA’s MAGIC CASTLE and is inviting fellow RING members and friends to join him (great experiences are always better when shared with your pals)!  A general visit to all of the CASTLE’s magic rooms is planned for Friday, Jan. 10, 2025, and a special HOUDINI SEANCE is planned on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025!  While in LA you’ll also be able to watch several RING 22 members (Keith & Sarah Fields, Dreygon, and Ferran) perform their brand of magic at the CASTLE throughout the week (starting on Monday, Jan. 13, 2025)!   Transportation and accommodations must be made on your own.  If interested in joining our CASTLE CARAVAN, please contact CLIFF as soon as possible (cell: 248.762.3635) - this is sure to be an amazing opportunity!
