MICHIGAN MAGIC DAY 2025 (May 16-17, 2025), was by every measurement a spectacular suddess! Celebrating outstanding magic and magicians, this Michigan convention has been around since 1971! The DETROIT MAGIC CLUB (IBM RING 22) proudly continued that tradition with an exciting TWO-DAY MAGIC CONVENTION that was a "MUST SEE" experience for everyone! Showcasing magic with internationally known magicians and entertainers, STEVE VALENTINE, DAVID PARR, HOWARD MINCONE, KEITH FIELDS and LADY SARAH, PAUL RICHARDS, MICHAEL MODE, BILL KALUSH, GEORGE TAIT, BEN BARNES, and so much more!
Presented in beautiful, modern facilities (with ample free parking space available), MMD 2025 was ideally located just north of Detroit (in Warren, Michigan) with easy access from I-94, I-696, and I-75. Best of all, with unbelievably low ticket price, everything was very affordable for everyone! - Additional "NIGHT BEFORE" PARTY, featuring an outstanding Parlor Show (CHUCK KING, FERRAN CHARLES, DREYGON, and MIKE THORNON), a premier routine created by CHRIS PHILPOTT and performed by "JUST JOE" CHASNEY, casual sessions, informal magic/open-mic stage for everyone, pizza, and soft beverages!
- A Commemorative book on Michigan magic, magicians, and history (including explanations for several great effects) was given to all attendees!
Attendees also had a chance to enjoy a complimentary MAGIC ARCADE GAME, FREE raffles, and prizes!
This was truly "everyone's convention" and out-of-town guests enjoyed staying in the same nearby hotel as our headline performers, the Holiday Inn and Suites, at a special reduced overnight rate. The convention provided two days of exciting magic - literally a "ONE-TWO PUNCH" of fantastic magic. During the convention, two veteran Michigan performers, LADY SARAH and KEITH FIELDS, were officially honored as the latest inductees into the MICHIGAN MAGICIANS' HALL OF FAME! Night Before Party! (Friday, May 16, 2025, 7 pm)
The fun began with a magical evening held at our headquarters hotel, with a Standing Room Only crowd attending! Here's just a few of our party highlights:

- An outstanding Parlor Magic Show presented by some of Michigan's topflight magicians (FERRAN CHARLES, KEN FOLEY, MIKE THORNTON, and CHUCK KING/EMCEE)!
- A premier routine created by CHRIS PHILPOTT and performed by "JUST JOE" CHASNEY!
- There was plenty of FREE pizza and soft beverages (or something stronger from the hotel bar)!
- Plenty of friendly sessioning with fellow magicians at our close-up tables!
- An open invitation for everyone and anyone to perform a favorite brand of magic on our OPEN-MIC, WIDE-OPEN, and ALWAYS SUPPORTIVE STAGE!
The "big enchilada" - our grand, full day magic affair - was held the following day at the fabulous JOHN LEWIS COMMUNITY CENTER within the Macomb Community College South Campus, just minutes away from the headquarters hotel. A record-breaking crowd of magicians and hobbyists enjoyed a full day of incredible magic!
The Main Event! (Saturday, May 17, 2025)
A large variety of magic ctivities were scheduled from sun-up to sun-down! There was something for everyone and no stone was left unturned!
