IMPROBABLE, or IMPOSSIBLE? NICK is not only a terrific performing magician, he’s a creator of original magic effects that are guaranteed to leave even the most experienced magicians guessing and scratching their heads, and best of all, it’s always fun being fooled with his magic!
IT’S YOUR TURN: “Parlor Prestidigitation Performance, Practice, and Presentation”
This is an “all-new, first-time” activity for a RING 22 meeting. We’re asking everyone to bring in a “magical moment” to share — a trick (or two), a joke, a riddle, a quote — ANYTHING related to magic that can be shared close-up at a table for a few friends seated around you. Afterwards, those at your table will elect one person (or more!) to share their “magical moment” with everyone from our open stage! Of course, we always make room for anyone who wants to take advantage of our friendly and supportive audience -- everyone will have fun with this one!
MOVE OF THE MONTH / MAGICIAN’S WORKSHOP: Gordon Russ
GORDON is a true “worker” -- a popular magician who’s performed in just about every situation imaginable. He’ll teach an impressive “flourish” as well as an impressive magic effect using a simple, everyday and impromptu object. You’ll not only learn and enjoy it -- you’ll add strong magic to your performing toolbox!
