Just when you think you’ve seen it all, RING 22 comes up with yet another super-exciting  must-see magic event you simply CANNOT MISS!  Our next club meeting is just two weeks away, on TUESDAY, MARCH 21, 2023, 7:15 PM EST (at the TRINITY EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 749 W. 14 Mile Rd., Clawson, MI), and we’ll be including “the best of two worlds” - a combined MINI-LECTURE and CLUB MEETING!  We’re turning our SPOTLIGHT on one of our most creative and talented club members - professional magician, KEN FOLEY!  Originally from the Upper Peninsula, KEN always stuns his audiences with original presentations and his unique spins of many classic routines of magic!  We’re also hosting an exclusive preview MINI-LECTURE with nationally known magician, mentalist, and creator of magic, CHRIS PHILPOTT (you’ve most-likely seen his magic creations performed on the PENN and TELLER TV series)!  CHRIS will be unveiling all-new material, just for us!  Can anyone possibly ask for more???  Of course, the real highlight is ALWAYS the most important - YOUR INVITATION to perform on our “no-holds-barred” WIDE-OPEN STAGE, and for those who dare, join us for our club’s AFTERGLOW at our favorite “watering hole”, The HIDEOUT!

RING 22 is off and running, and our next club meeting, coming your way on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 2023, 7:15 PM EST, will once again take place at our very own magical “capitol of the world” - the TRINITY EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 749 W. 14 Mile Rd., Clawson, MI!  Just TWO WEEKS AWAY, this time around we’re officially going “overseas and international”,  spotlighting one of our CANADIAN club members, ERIC BEDARD!   He’s already established himself as a major player in our club and his magic is always very impressive! 

As you might expect, our club’s “full-tilt” approach won’t stop there - we’re featuring a special  “MINIMALIST MAGIC” WORKSHOP with BOB WHITFORD (and you’re sure to learn a thing or two using coins and cards!), revealing the very latest from the experts at The WUNDERGROUND MAGIC SHOP, discussing an important topic (“Connecting with YOUR Audience”), moderated by VP FRED LENTER, and,  as a SPECIAL BONUS, veteran magician TOM MOSIER will provide a “COIN CORNER” session, demonstrating and teaching some very unique, underground coin sleights!

The new year has only just begun but RING 22 is running full speed ahead, and our next club meeting, on TUESDAY, JANUARY 17, 2023, 7:15 PM EST, at our favorite “Winter Paradise” (Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 749 W. 14 Mile Rd., Clawson, MI) is less than TWO WEEKS AWAY!  

This time around we’ll be spotlighting me (as in “yours truly”) – JOHNNY NEW YORK –  (don’t worry, I’ve been practicing!).  We’ll also present an improved version of our club’s FAVORITE activity – our famous CLOSE-UP SESSION in the ROUND!  EVERYONE will have SEVERAL opportunities to perform whatever you want (a trick, a joke, a story, or whatever!), close-up and personal, and each time for a DIFFERENT crowd!  If “practice makes perfect”, what could be better???  BOB WHITFORD will present a MYSTERY WORKSHOP ("Minimalist Magic") involving cards and coins, and our VP, FRED LENTER, will also lead a group discussion revealing one of magic’s most important secrets – MISDIRECTION.  Dare we mention more???  You’ll see a sneak preview from the fabulous WUNDERGROUND MAGIC SHOP, and there’s always our club AFTERGLOW at our favorite late night hangout, The HIDEOUT!  We’re also providing a chance for EVERYONE to perform on our WIDE-OPEN STAGE, and of course, we always have a few more surprises under wraps.
